Build a Brighter Future
The iMusic United is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded on the philosophy that music is an integral and invaluable part of life and the human experience. Our operations consist of five independent yet interdependent pursuits that include developing new music curricula, creating live performances to promote music and culture, encouraging the exchange of new ideas among music educators, coaching various workshops to educators/professional artists and providing scholarships to music education programs for underprivileged children. By underwriting music education for students and professionals alike, we at
iMusic United hopes to improve the quality of life for those individuals we serve as well as enhance the long-term cultural development of the community as a whole.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment in which students learn music skills and develop as individual beings in ways that are unique and cannot be found in many present-day schools. Deprivation of the cultural environment in our youth results in a society bereft of some of the most intrinsic values that make for a healthy and produced society.
iMusic United aims to become a multifaceted support system for everyone who wishes to embark on a musical journey that will surely heighten self-esteem, self-discipline, and self-discovery. Those individuals who participate in the activities of iMusic United will develop the skills necessary to work productively with others in the greater community and will ultimately take pride in their accomplishments.

MEET OUR FOUNDER | Miho Nomura
Miho has been a musician since the age of five. She undertook a personal journey inspired by her life experience and the passion discovered along the way. In 2015, she founded a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, iMusic United which is promoting the importance of music education and the power of music.
Under her leadership, many in her network of respected artists in the music industry have joined her organization such as Grammy winner producer, Terry Lewis (producer of Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey and Usher), Terrace Martin (Producer of YG, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamer), Marlon Williams, (Quincy Jones, Kanye West, and Snoop Dogg), Bobby Taylor (Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers) and Billy Osborne (producer of late Ray Charles). Her organization has successfully formed partnerships with California State University Los Angeles to service-learning programs through her volunteer initiative. Her students have been showcased together with HOLA/YOLA (one of the world’s most prestigious music education programs), and have participated in events with UNHCR and many other influential organizations. In under two years of operation, her organization currently serves about 3000 students at low-income housing communities, senior homes, inner-city school districts in Inglewood, Compton, Lancaster, and Los Angeles Unified School District.

BJORN MYRHOLT
AWARD WINNING MOTION PICTURE EDITOR
Bjorn is as a motion picture editor and colorist and his work includes “Her”, which won Best Original Screen Play at the 2014 Academy Awards. His television credits include shows like NCIS-LA, John from Cincinnati and he is currently an editor at ABC Television show, Grey’s Anatomy and NBC This Is Us.
He also has a background as a session drummer with a degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music.

Brett is one of the top artist agents at CAA for over 15 years. He represents Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire , Fleetwood Mac, and ELO and many other known and legend artist in Hollywood. He is a recognized leader in the industry and is cause-driven to support iMusic. He will bring his talents and experiences to this philanthropic efforts to promote iMusic United Foundation's mission.

TERRY LEWIS
GRAMMY AWARD WINNING PRODUCER & SONGWRITER
Terry is known for his partnership with Jimmy Jam, is a R&B songwriter and producer. Since the 1980s he has seen success in his work, and worked with artists like Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men and Prince. He also performed with The Time, now referred to The Original 7ven, a band that included the talents of Morris Day.
BILLY OSBORNE
PRODUCER OF LATE RAY CHARLES/ FOUNDER OF LTD
Billy is an international recording artist, jazz drummer and producer. At the age of 16 he began performing with artists such as Wes Montgomery. He is well known for his work with L.T.D, a platinum-selling troupe in which he acted as a music director and keyboardist. In the 1980s he worked primarily with Ray Charles, writing songs and producing much of his work.
TERRACE MARTIN
GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ARTIST AND MUSIC PRODUCER
He is best known for producing records for several prominent artists, such as Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Busta Rhymes, Charlie Wilson, Raphael Saadiq and YG among others. Martin is a multi-instrumentalist, whose music production embodies everything from funk and jazz to classical and soul. Martin recently released his sixth studio album Velvet Portraits
MARLON M. WILLIAMS
GRAMMY AWARD WINNING ARTIST AND GUITAR PLAYER
Marlon is known for working with record industry legends like Quincy Jones, or today’s hottest rappers like Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, Marlon Williams knows his way around an electric guitar.
